There are many people who do not know that they can connect their PC to a TV. It can see corrective to a lot of people, but it is simple. There are many reasons to join a PC to TV. Check the TV and PC functions to see exactly what is required to connect. If it is an older TV, it can only have a composite connection (three wire cable with red, yellow, white connectors). Newer TVs will usually have HDMI, component, VGA, and / or DVI inputs. Modern computers have VGA or DVI outputs. A lot of laptops will also have S-video or a variant of the Mini / Micro-DVI.
TV with a VGA or DVI input is the best possible scenario. In this case, an adapter is not necessary but an extra audio cable is required. Check the TV to either a 3.5 mm stereo jack or red and white plugs from a composite cable connected with VGA / DVI input. If it is the red / white composite audio inputs, the cable will be red / white plugs on one end and a 3.5mm stereo plug on the other. The 3.5 mm plug will go into the PC's headphone / speaker output socket.
A second best would be if your PC has an HDMI or DVI (with audio) output and the TV has an HDMI input. In this scenario, all they need is an HDMI cable or an HDMI cable and a DVI to HDMI adapter. For the rest of the connections suitable adapter is required.
PC Setup
Once the connections are made, there is only one last step to get the PC screen on your TV. For this PC display settings are being configured. Follow the steps below —
· Go to Menu -> Settings -> Control Panel -> select Display. Select the Settings tab and click the 'Advanced' button.
· The options displayed in the dialog box vary based on your graphics card.
· Find the tab that is specific to the video graphics card. It will usually have the manufacturers name of the tab.
· In the graphics card tab to see if it is opportunities such as Clone or Dual or multiple monitors, etc.
Check the appropriate box or radio button for the desired configuration and click Apply.
Mature TV will not show a high resolution. Furthermore, some newer TV only accept certain resolutions. If the screen does not work immediately, try changing the resolution. If it still does not work, try restarting your computer with a connected TV. PC can automatically record your screen and configure it for you.
